
The Ten Rules Of Etiquette

If asked: What are the ten rules of etiquette? Say:
1.
To sit on the left foot, as the Prophet usually did whilst
eating.
2.
To eat from what is in front of you.
3.
Not to look at what others are eating.
4.
To drink from the side of the bowl.
5.
To eat with three fingers.
6.
To lick the fingers.
7.
To either clean the bowl of leave something in it, as has been
said: [They either left (something) or cleaned it.].
8.
To pick up food which falls from the hands.
9.
Not to recline while eating.
10.
To wash the hands after eating.
