Tawassul: The Plea for Acceptance 

Arabic Transliteration 

Ya Sayyida s-Sadati wa Nura l-Mawjudat, ya man huwwa l-malja’u li-man massahu daymun wa ghammun w ‘alam. Ya Aqraba l walaili ila-Llahi ta’ala, way a Aqwa l---mustanadi, atawassalu ila janabika l-a’dham bi ha’ula I s-sadati wa ahliLlah wa ahli baytika l-kiram li daf’I durrin la yudfa’u illa bi wasitatika, wa ra’I daymin la yurfa’u illa bidalalatika bi- Sayyidi wa Mawlayyi, ya Sayyidi, Ya Rasul-Allah, ya Rahmatan li-l-‘alamin

English Translation 

O Lord of the Masters and Light of Creation! Q refuge of the one who has been stricken by affliction, distress and pain, O closest of means (to approach) Allah (Exalted is He!). O most powerful of support. I entreat your mighty presence by (means of) these masters and the People of Allah and yo8ur honored family, for the removal of harm that cannot be removed except by your intercession, and the lifting of affliction that cannot be lifted except by your guidance, by my master and lord, O Master, O Emissary of Allah, O Mercy to the worlds.  Al-Fatihah.
