
The Rules Of Conduct With Relatives

If asked: How many are the rules of conduct with relatives? Say:
Seven:
1.
Adhere to them for the bonds of relationships extend life.
2.
Be charitable to them with your goods.
3.
Rejoice in their happiness and be sad when they sorrow.
4.
When aiding them, do not stint in the way of help.
5.
However much they may vex you, be loyal in return.
6.
Do not collude with their enemies.
Do not covet their property or reputation, for you will also
become unchaste and disreputable.
