
The Rules Of Conduct Of The Feet

If asked: What are the rules of conduct of the feet? Say: They
are two. First, that they go to three places; second, that they
avoid three places.
If asked: What are the three places that they should go? Say:
1.
To the mosque and blessed places.
2.
They should hasten to visit graves and hearts.
3.
They should proceed to remedy sin, visit the sick, relieve
tyranny and injury, and such things.
If asked: What are the three places one should not go? Say:
1.
The house of oppressors and those living by unlawful means,
except out of necessity.
2.
Places of accusations and unsuitability, such as gambling houses
and taverns.
3.
In pursuit of those not of the prohibited degrees, or to do
anything improper or unworthy.
