The venerable Ghawth, Khwaja Muhammad Nazim •declared,

"Our duty is to bring out the good in others, to inspire love and confidence in their hearts.  If they can come to love a Muslim it is the beginning of their good fortune.  Therefore, it is not our method to use our power over people, but to send inspirations to their hearts so that sooner or later they may be able to say to themselves: "Do this, don't do that."  We are trying to make people increase in understanding: that is the safest way to guide them. "
