Baiah

Burhan l-Kurama Ghawthu l-Anam Sultan ul-Awliya
Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al Haqqani, al-Hasani

Giving Baiah is pledging spiritual loyalty to the Prophet [sallallahu alaihi wa ala aalihi wa sallam] through a legitimate, unbroken spiritual Chain of Masters, tracing back to him [sallallahu alaihi wa ala aalihi wa sallam].  Baiah is the way of the Sahabah of the Prophet[sallallahu alaihi wa ala aalihi wa sallam], all of whom were under the Prophet's oath, as mentioned in the Holy Qur'an, and is the way of the Awliya.  In fact, there is no Wali found in the Ummah, from the inception of Islam, who is outside of it.

To Take Baiah Online

Taking Baiah online can be compared to taking it via letter, a practice accepted throughout history by the Masters of Wisdom and Awliya from various Orders.  The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa ala aalihi wa sallam] accepted the oath of Uthman ibn 'Affan the third Rightly Guided Caliph, in the latter's absence and the fourth Caliph, 'Ali ibn Abi Talib also accepted Baiah via written letters.  This practice passed through the Rightly Guided Caliphs, to Imam  Hasan and Imam Husayn, and from them to the Saints who succeeded them, including in specific the Masters of Wisdom.
